Micro Swimsuits

Ever since the bikini was first designed in the 1940s, the two-piece swimsuit had just gotten smaller and smaller to the point where there are now micro swimsuits.  These tiny styles aren’t everyone’s cup of tea and certainly not everyone will be clamoring to get one.  They are very revealing and really should be reserved by those who are bold and confident with their bodies.  Micro swimsuits, to be clear, are merely much smaller versions of the typical, every day swimsuit.  Whether it be a triangle, halter or strapless top, or string, Brazilian or thong bottom, the micro versions are simply smaller, skimpier versions.  Really, less fabric is used and more skin is exposed so if that sounds like a look you’d go for, then maybe micro swimsuits are for you!

For some women, shopping for and trying on bikinis can either make or break their day.  Understandably, not all women are comfortable in their own skin and searching for skin-exposing bikinis can be a daunting task.  Here are some suggestions to have a happier bikini shopping experience.  Don’t go around the time of your period.  You’re bloated, cramping, moody or a combination of all of the above, which doesn’t make for a positive shopping experience.  Your body isn’t feeling like its normal self so don’t subject yourself to trying on bikinis while you’re puffy and cranky.  Wait a a few days and go afterward.  When you start trying on swimsuits, try to go to a place that has three-way mirrors.  Yes, you’ll be subjecting yourself to a lot of angles but you’ll be able to see what everyone else could see.  So if you don’t like the way your butt looks, it’s not the suit you want others to be seeing you in.  Don’t forget that the way you look in the swimsuit isn’t the only thing to keep in mind.  A reflection can’t tell you if the straps are uncomfortable or if the tag itches, so take a break looking in the mirror, move around a bit and see if you notice anything that will annoy you.
